Condition & logistics
Running vs. Not Running
We accept both running and non-running classic cars. If your vehicle is not operational, just let us know its condition, and we can arrange for pickup regardless of its current status.
Title Issues
If your classic or collector car has title issues, don't worry! Our team can guide you through the necessary steps to resolve these problems, ensuring that your donation goes smoothly.
Storage and Pickup Logistics
We handle all logistics for pickup – wherever your classic car is stored, be it a garage in Prospect or a barn in Bardstown, we’ll coordinate a convenient time to collect your vehicle.
Title transfer & paperwork
In Kentucky, transferring the title of your classic or collector car involves filling out Form TC 96-182, the Application for Kentucky Title. If your vehicle is currently registered, you may also need to return the old plates. In some cases, notarization is required, so make sure to check the latest DMV regulations, as we can guide you through it all!
Tax deduction for this donation
Your donation can lead to a tax deduction ranging from $500 to the car’s fair market value, depending on the sale price when it's auctioned. Remember to keep the IRS Form 1098-C, which we’ll provide, to accurately document your contribution and maximize your deductions on tax day.
